Course Overview

p> The Nervous System is designed to process sensory data and determine body response. The NS has 2 main parts, the central and the peripheral nervous systems. The brain is at the center of the entire nervous system and is responsible for thinking, learning, and controlling and coordinating body functions. This course will provide an overview of basic anatomy and functioning of the Nervous system.

After completion of this course, you will:

• Be able to identify the major organs of the nervous system
• Be able to identify the purpose of the central and peripheral nervous systems
