Course Overview

The urinary system removes wastes from the blood and maintains body fluid balance. This course will provide an overview of basic anatomy and functioning of the urinary system.

After completion of this course, you will:

• Be able to identify the major organs of the urinary system
• Understand the basic functions of the urinary system
• Be able to identify changes in body function that must be reported to a supervisor
• Identify common disease conditions associated with the urinary system
