Course Overview

The reproductive system makes new life possible through the production of hormones, eggs, and a nurturing environment for fetal growth. This course will provide an overview of basic anatomy and functioning of the female reproductive system.

After completion of this course, you will:

• Be able to identify the major organs of the female reproductive system
• Understand the basic functions of the female reproductive system
• Be able to identify changes in body function that must be reported to a supervisor
• Identify common disease conditions associated with the reproductive system
