myCNAjobs announces its partnership with Steel Center Tech in granting a CNA Scholarship for their June enrollment cycle. The myCNAjobs Scholarship Team is excited to welcome the most recent scholarship recipient from West Newton, PA, Caitlin D., into the program.

In determining which individual will be chosen for a myCNAjobs Scholarship, the first thing the team looks for is an individual who has a strong passion for the healthcare industry. After speaking with Caitlin, it was clear that she had a true lust for the profession and would be the perfect candidate to go through Steel Center’s CNA program. Caitlin is currently a student at Chatham University where she studies Human Biology, hoping to continue her education and career within the healthcare field post-graduation. Receiving a CNA license will allow her to gain real-world experience within the healthcare field, preparing her early for her future career.

Dr. Melody Carter-Frye, Director of Workforce Development stated, “we are very excited to welcome Caitlin to Steel Center Tech and have her go through our CNA program. It will be interesting to see how she applies the information she has learned at college thus far to our classroom and clinical.”
The goal of the myCNAjobs Scholarship fund is to find those, like Caitlin, who want to make a positive impact in the healthcare field. There is a strong belief that Caitlin will do great things both with her undergraduate degree in biology and her Certified Nurse Assistant Certification.

Steel Center tech offers short-term continuing education training programs for adults. Their CNA program lasts for seven weeks and consists of classroom, lab, and clinical. Steel Center is currently working with myCNAjobs to provide jobseekers with employers through the myCNAjobs Job Directory
