Catholic Charities HHA Training Program Scholarship Application

Catholic Charities USA is dedicated to helping parents and their families achieve stability by connecting them with the resources, skills, and opportunities they need to thrive. Through the Lifting Moms Out of Poverty (LMOP) initiative, Catholic Charities is investing in mothers, families, and communities by offering free Home Health Aide (HHA) training, along with comprehensive support to promote long-term financial independence.

This program is designed to give you the knowledge and support to thrive. Join a growing movement to build meaningful careers in care—for yourself, your family, and your community.

This program aligns to the CMS Conditions for Participation (42 CFR § 484.80) to meet the requirements of the Federal HHA training requirements and includes:

• 59 Hours of Online training that can be completed via mobile or computer device at your own pace.
• Mobile-friendly learning modules built by specialized experts including nurses, physical therapists, nutritionists, 911 operators, and EMTs.

Upon completion, you will receive a printable certificate for the online portion of the curriculum. You can bring a printed certificate to a willing home health agency to administer the HHA exam to receive your certification.
