Florida HHA (Medicaid & Foster Recipients) Scholarship Application

Simply Healthcare is committed to expanding access to home care by investing in the Florida workforce and supporting Medicaid populations and those in the foster system to build meaningful careers in care. As part of this mission, Simply's scholarship program will fund training for one hundred individuals to receive free online Home Health Aide (HHA) training, helping them either begin a career in home care or gain additional skills if they are already working in the field

This program aligns to the CMS Conditions for Participation (42 CFR § 484.80) to meet the requirements of the Federal HHA training requirements and includes:

• 59 Hours of Online training that can be completed via mobile or computer device at your own pace.
• Mobile-friendly learning modules built by specialized experts including nurses, physical therapists, nutritionists, 911 operators, and EMTs.

Upon completion, you will receive a printable certificate for the online portion of the curriculum. You can bring a printed certificate to a willing home health agency to administer the HHA exam to receive your certification.
